AFTERTHOUGHTS

The writer Albert Espinosa states at the beginning of his book El mundo amarillo: "Si crees en los sueños, ellos se crearán". I believed in the Greek dream since the first time I was told about it and the dream was created by all the people that shared those days with us and by all the places we visited and the little things which surrounded us.
Our last evening in Pireus I told Dani about the "amarillos" that had been with us those days. According to Albert Espinosa, "los amarillos son esa gente que se cruza en tu vida y que con una sola conversación puede llegar a cambiártela". They may not have changed our lives but I was sure they had become part of my life and I was going to miss them in a way or another: Betty, Aris, Slava, Gery, Cristina, Ilu, Rafa, Pedro, the owner of our favourite coffee shop, the staff of the hotel Faros 1, the crazy taxi driver... "Amarillos", after all.

The explorer Ibn Battuta said: "Travelling. It leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller". I think he was absolutely right.
